Ramganj Upazila

Ramganj Upazila is an Upazila under Lakshmipur District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is located at 23.1056°N 90.8750°E. It is bounded by Faridganj, Hajiganj and Shahrasti on the north, Chatkhil on the east, Lakshmipur sadar and Raipur on the south, Faridganj and Raipur on the west. This area was dominated by Hindus. In 1891, Ramganj was established as thana, then it was promoted into a upazila on 24th July, 1983.
